Anglia Leisure Learning are using Belstead Brook Hotel for some of its weekend courses that run from Friday dinner to Sunday afternoon tea.
This hotel was originally a Jacobean hunting lodge, but today combines historic charm and character with the best of modern facilities. Nestling among nine acres of mature wooded parkland alongside a brook, the hotel is close to the A12 / A14 junction and only a couple of miles from Ipswich railway station.
As you would expect in a three star hotel, there is a bar and restaurant for contemporary dining in a classic setting, with much local produce used for the menus. The 88 en suite bedrooms are comfortably furnished with double beds for single occupancy, TV and a seating area, free wifi, tea and coffee making facilities, baths and/or showers, and of course bedrooms are serviced daily.
You will have free use of the hotel leisure club with its indoor swimming pool, whirlpool, sauna, steam room and solarium. There is also a well equipped gym. You are welcome to check in from 3 pm on the Friday and take advantage of the leisure club during the afternoon, so that you are relaxed and ready for dinner and the first session of your course on the Friday evening. And there is a wide range of treatments offered by the hotel’s Mind, Body and Soul Spa if you really want to spoil yourself.
So, when you leave on the Sunday afternoon, you will not just simply have taken part in your course, enhanced your skills, made new friends or renewed acquaintances, but will have experienced a pampering weekend that is truly reviving and memorable.
